About Post Audio

Post Audio™ is the trading name of Matt Bellingham, a musician, engineer, producer and lecturer living and working in Shrewsbury in the West Midlands, UK.

I am the course leader on the HND and HNC in Music Production at New College Telford. Alongside this I continue to work on my freelance recording work and original tracks.

I have worked variously as a freelance engineer, producer, programmer, arranger and guitarist, including a stint as a staff engineer at PWL Manchester (spiritual home of the mighty Steps).

The OSMN is something I’m doing in my spare time, and it’s already getting a really good response.

The site has been hand-written in Vim and BBEdit on a PowerBook using XHTML, CSS, MarkDown, XML, XSLT, Perl, AppleScript and LaTeX. PDF’s have been generated using Apple's Terminal and TeXShop, graphics have been done using Omnigraffle, and Fetch is my FTP software of choice.
No Microsoft products were used in the building of this site, and I’d recommend staying away from their bug-ridden software as much as you can. If you’re interested in why, read this.

Software I like includes Vim, LaTeX, Lilypond, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ardour and lots of other stuff.
